Joost 'The Boost' Wichman won the European Championships Four Cross for the third time. R.S.P. teammates Tomas Slavik and Jurg Meijer stood next to him on the podium, finishing 2nd and 3th.
Wichman is in good shape, and he proved it once again during the European Championships Four Cross in Willingen. He was the fastest in qualifications and he was the fastest in the big final. He had won the title before in 2006 and 2007.
Most competition came from teammate Tomas Slavik. It was a battle on the first straight, won by Wichman who defended his lead to the finish. His other teammate, Jurg Meijer, has found his speed again. After a good race in Fort William last weekend, he showed his skills in Willingen as well, finishing 3th. Roger Rinderknecht took 4th place.
Another great weekend for the Austrian R.S.P. Mountainbike Team and for Joost in particlar!
