30/07 - UCI 4X World Cup #5 Val di Sole

Let's look back at the dusty World Cup Four Cross in Val di Sole. With the complete results and a video of the finals, unfortunately without Joost who finished 6th.

Wichman tried to get passed Prokop in the semi-final but his move wasn't succesfull. Rinderknecht took the victory in the final, leaving Graves not amused (although he won the overall standings). Last World Cup stop will be in Windham, USA, August 28.

Click here for the complete results.

And here's a vid of the finals. Joosts teammate Tomas Slavik was on fire this weekend, grabbing second place.

In the overall standings Joost is still in third place:

1. Graves 535
2. Slavik 400
3. Wichman 325
4. Prokop 233
5. Marosi 206
20. Meijer 25

R.S.P. maintained their winning streak in the World Cup for teams. The team leads in overall by far.

1. R.S.P. 377
2. Yeti 181
3. Suspension Center 175
4. Agang 98
5. Ghost 90

Here's another great R.S.P. Podcast, capturing the World Cup Four Cross in Val di Sole in less than 5 minutes. Big thumbs up for Kluhs Productions!

Joost finished 6th in Italy, Tomas took 2nd place and Marosi had some back-problems, which kept him from a good result (18th). Jurg Meijer had to stay in Holland this weekend (family matters).
